The purpose of this site is to chronicle the knowledge, tips, & personal experience I've gained while battling a wide assortment of invisible chronic illnesses (Lyme disease, CFS, FMS, IBS, IC & MORE!); while also sharing the tears, LAUGHTER, inspiration, and “attitude” that seem almost like traveling companions for an extended healing journey. It is my sincere hope that those who find their way here, also find something of value to aide them upon their own healing journey.

Over the years, I've come to learn that it takes much more than the daily tossing of prescribed medication & supplements down my throat to keep me going.  Ironically enough, it has been the "invisible" therapies that have truly kept me in this land of the living.  I suppose that's appropriate for someone with a crap-load of "invisible" chronic illnesses, huh?   One "therapy" in particular that has been crucial to really saving my sick ass is....laughter.  Yes, laughter!  I wouldn't lie to you!  Reader's Digest got it right!  And that's one of the primary reasons I've felt compelled to return to the blogosphere - so I could share with you, my fellow 'sickos', the great news about this wonderful healing therapy, as well as many others.    

This site has been a vision of mine for some time. Due to ongoing illness, though, turning that vision into any sort of reality has been an exhausting & overwhelming task.

As a perfectionist - this is a HUGE step for me to make this site available BEFORE it actually looks like my vision. But if experience has taught me anything - nothing ever turns out how we envision it; and other than GOD, there's really nothing that is perfect, after all.

So I welcome you to my unfinished, incomplete, ongoing "labor of love". There are many areas still "UNDER CONSTRUCTION" but hopefully with time (& maybe some encouraging words from my readers) I'll get those incomplete areas off my "To Do" list before too long.
